In a recent Denver Business Journal article, it was reported that Denver ranked 10th out of 100 top cities in the strength of its housing market!  

As home values in the area hold steady and the number of foreclosures decline, Denver has seen its worst.  And the economy is stronger compared to other markets, so the real estate industry will continue to rebound.

Because values have hit bottom, they will now move up.  However, it will be slight.  This will not occur over night.  It may take a few years.  But what's important is that values are no longer declining and there is predicted job recovery, which leads to home buying.

This report was not alone.  Builder Magazine rated Denver as one of the 20 "healthiest" regions in homebuilding.

Builder Magazine, which is a trade journal for the home building industry, compiles a list twice a year.  Builder works with Hanley Wood Market Intelligence to compile a list of the healthiest housing markets in the United States, based on forward projections for the metrics that drive housing production–jobs, price appreciation, population growth, and income growth. The projections come from Moody’s Economy.com.

It's great news that the city nearest to Boulder is ranked 10th in the United States for housing market strength.  We have many agents in our office who specialize in the Denver market and are keeping quite busy with helping others buy and sell real estate in the area.
